Nuts and Bolts Mentoring Programme

Hi lovelies,

Hope you had a good weekend? My weekend was really good! I heard good news on Friday 🙂

I want to inform you about a free mentoring programme by Nuts and Bolts Nigeria. They had a briefing in UNILAG which I attended and I can vouch for it.

What is Nuts and Bolts Nigeria about?
The project in summary involves providing free mentoring for selected students in the faculty. Interested students will go through a selection process to assess their drive, career plans and ability to remain committed to the project. The idea for this project has been in the pipeline for over a year and we are now ready to kick-start with the University of Lagos.

Exciting opportunity for Engineering undergraduates at the University of Lagos (UNILAG)

In conjunction with the The Faculty of Engineering and the University of Lagos Engineering Society (ULES), Nuts&Bolts Nigeria have begun a FREE mentoring programme which will see about 100 students of the faculty (from years 2 to 5) undergo a six-month mentoring session.

The mentees will be matched with experienced Nigerian mentors from all over the world who will guide them through career and academic mentoring.

The mentors will also during this six month cycle provide free training and tutorials on industry recognized engineering software like MATLAB and so on.

So if you are currently an undergraduate in the faculty of Engineering at Unilag, go to their website http://www.nutsandboltsng.com, download the expression of interest form (http://www.nutsandboltsng.com/2-easy-steps-to-mentoring-with-nb), complete it and email the completed form back to team@nutsandboltsng.com.

It is totally Free!!!

Deadline for applications is Friday, 28th February 2014. Places are filling up quickly, so please apply ASAP.

Please guys, spread the word!!!
